Our New Logo

The Center for Children's
Board of Directors is proud to unveil our new logo and public information
packet. During our strategic planning process last year, we were
gratified by the many compliments the Center received for its work on behalf
of children and families at risk. At the same time, many of you
encouraged us to raise our visibility and become more vocal advocates for
children and families.
The art and colors in our
new logo are symbolic of who we are and what we do. Rising above the
Center's name are three arcs with a circle above each. Each arc
represents a different phase in a child's life - infancy/toddler, grade
school, and adolescence/young adulthood. Each superseding arc
represents an older, or growing phase. the arcs may also be seen as
representing a child and family. It's a dynamic, yet calm, figure.
Color also complements this figure. We have chosen the solid and
secure color of blue to identify the Center. The burgundy is
thought-provoking and mystical. It's a color that is often associated
with youth, and is a blend of the passions of red and the tranquility of
blue.
We hope you'll agree that
this image's form and color have come together for a dynamic and meaningful
logo for the Center for Children and we hope that you will join us in
advocating for A Chance for Every Child.
